I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and owner of Path to Empowerment. I have years of experience working with individuals from a  wide range of backgrounds. I am informed in several modalities including TLC trauma techniques, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, attachment theory, solution focused, strength based, cognitive behavioral techniques and dialectical behavioral techniques.

The therapeutic process can be life changing as you gain a better understanding of yourself. Our Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors have a big impact on the quality of our day to day life. Through building a therapeutic relationship, I can help guide you through the journey of positive change which can be a very rewarding experience. I believe that it is important to create an environment that is free of judgement so that you can feel safe expressing yourself. The way we form our identity is complex. many roles play a factor, including our environment, family of origin, current relationships, and lifestyle. The journey of life, events, both positive and painful help to mold us. Exploring such events like, grief, relationship dynamics, and challenging responsibilities, can help foster growth. This path of healing and exploration into yourself can lead to a stronger, happier, healthier, you.
